An old, well-established variety of dill. It grows up to 90-120 cm tall. Dill is very suitable for pickling cucumbers and other vegetables. Dill grows best in loose, permeable, water and air permeable, weed-free soils. They do not grow well in shade. Germination starts at +3°C, leaf emergence at +5-8°C, the best temperature for growth is +16-18°C. Dill does not germinate well in the absence of moisture, and the foliage is small and rough when it does germinate. To have dill throughout the summer, sow dill seeds every 10 days until mid-June and from 10 August until 5 September. 2 grams of seed per square metre are needed. |
