The varied and long-flowering dahlias 'Bonesta' start flowering early in the season just after frost, producing 4 cm long white flowers with irregular reddish streaks. Each 36-40 cm tall plant is unique.

Dahlias (Latin: Dahlia) are perennial but not cold hardy - the tubers can overwinter at 8° or warmer. The flowers can be dug up after frost and grown indoors during winter. Please note that dahlias should be planted outdoors once the danger of frost has passed and the soil temperature reaches about 15°C.

The tubers should be planted at a depth of about 10-15 cm, with the 'eyes' (the small protrusion from which the stem will grow) pointing upwards.
