"Dahlias in the 'Omega' category, known for their extra large and striking flowers. The blossoms have a mix of warm, sunset shades, often combining shades of pink, orange, yellow and apricot, creating a dramatic and elegant effect. Depending on growing conditions, it usually reaches a height of about 90-120 cm and spreads about 30-60 cm wide.
Dahlias like full sun, so choose a spot with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight every day.
They also like well-drained, loamy soil. Frequent flooding is not suitable, so if your soil is heavy clay, consider adding compost or peat moss to improve drainage.
The tubers should be planted at a depth of about 10-15 cm, with the 'eyes' (the small protrusion from which the stem will grow) pointing upwards. Choose a sunny place to plant the bulbs, as dahlias grow and flower best under open sunlight.
